Quoting Take me as I am:" My DS just turned 1 and hes been on Similac Alimentum and for the past 3 weeks we have been giving him ... [snip!] ... but advance to bring in milk or just spring it on him seeings hes doing well. TIA everyone and hope you have a good night."
Quoting Lillybutt's momma:" If he has issues with formula like that I would switch him to Almond/Coconut milk or Goats Milk. Its a lot easier on their tummies"
Quoting TheNuge:" Just to make sure i understand you - he has been getting amix of Alimentum and Advance for 3 weeks ... [snip!] ... is doing well. If that is the case, yes, I'd add some milk in and reduce the Advance until you run out of the formula. "
Quoting Take me as I am:" Even tho hes doing so well on the Advance? My family has been wondering if hes really never had issues ... [snip!] ... never had issues and it was all bassed on them doing my csection early and hes was taken out to early. If that makes sence???"I highly doubt it has anything to do with an early csection delivery.

Quoting Lillybutt's momma:" I highly doubt it has anything to do with an early csection delivery. "It depends on how early. Before a baby is considered term, many dont have the ability to make enough of the needed enzymes to digest properly. It can be a huge problem.
Quoting TheNuge:" Typically, babies that need Alimentum dont need it for a full year. Usually their bodies start making ... [snip!] ... else, but most people want to offer foods that are convenient and easy to find. I'd go with milk unless it's a problem."
Quoting Take me as I am:" I dont see a problem. Hes been eating things with milk in it for the past 2 months and has been doing ... [snip!] ... doing fine. So should I just replace the advance that I put in with the Alimentum with whole milk or should I try a lower %?"

DD can't drink whole milk it won't digest properly but she can eat other dairy perfectly fine with no issue.
Quoting Take me as I am:" Thank you ladies for your input"
Quoting TheNuge:" good luck. i hope he does great!"
