Judge orders "no more kids"

Just curious, do you think that a judge or the government should be allowed to ban you from having more children if you fail to pay child support?

A Wisconsin judge has ordered a man who owes $90,000 in child support after fathering nine children with six women to not have any more kids, at least for now.
Racine County Circuit Court Judge Tim Boyle sentenced Corey Curtis, 44, to three years of probation on Monday with the condition he is not to procreate until he shows he can support his children, according to court documents.
Curtis pleaded no contest in October to one count each of felony bail jumping and failure to pay child support.

No, I don't think that's right at all. It's his body, he can continue spreading his seed to women who are dumb enough to sleep with him.

I dont really see how they could stop you from having sex? I do agree some people just shouldnt have kids but isnt that violating their civil rights?

And if he continues to reproduce, what happens then?.. Lol.

Even tho he can't stop him I agree with that ruling.

Mm, it makes sense. But if a baby is meant to be, it will happen regaurdless of condoms/birth control. And I'm pretty sure he isn't just gonna stop having sex. I haven't read the article (can't get it to load), but if he does get someone else pregnant what will happen to him?

I agree the guy shouldn't be allowed to have any more until he can provide for the children he already has, BUT.. Lets see what happens if he does knock up another dummy..

What will they do if he knocks another chick up? Charge him money that he'll never pay? Put him in jail...? I find it funny that they think he'll listen to them.

He would be found in contempt of court most likely.

It would be very difficult to enforce. One of my friends had sex with a guy who got girls pregnant on purpose. With every baby, he'd get another sperm tattoo. That was years ago and he had close to 5 or 6 babies. Eventually he ended up moving and hiding from all of the moms and babies he made.

Nope, it just opens the doorway to forced sterilization or forced birth control for those using social programs. Completely disagree with this even though that guy is a douchebag, putting it mildly.


I'm also curious how they're going to enforce it.
