knicked my 2 month old cutting her nails ;(

I was cutting my 2 month olds nails and by accident I knicked her finger and her finger bled so so bad and It was only a small cut  ! Its still bleeding not as bad though? *Are babies suppoused to bleed so much and for so long ?!

I dont know but i cut my babies nails at a month and cut her finger never clipped them again i felt so bad ) :

im not sure i bite my kids nails tho coz my mum did that to me when i was a baby... just put pressure on it it should stop.

That happened to me cutting LO's nails when he was that age. I was so upset! More upset than he was. It bled a lot, too. I had to stick a band-aid on it,.

Yeah, it makes you feel awful when you do that -_- I know I nicked my son's thumb when he was little too. Kiss it and put a bandaid on it, baby will be fine even though you feel guilty lol

Thats why I bite my daughters nails. I'm too scared to use nail clippers. I've always heard its easier because the babies find it funny when the get old enough.

Yeah babies can bleed a lot, just keep pressure on it and keep cut clean. Our babies' nails peeled off at the ends.
