Dessert and toast helpp

I need a dessert idea for a birthday party that could replace cake and has no chocolate or nuts. Ideas? Also, how can I make toast without a toaster?

Toast in the oven.
Pies, fruit salads, sweet quick breads. Are allergies a concern?

Angel food cake?


As for toast without a toaster, we just put bread on a cookie sheet/baking pan and pop in under the broiler.. When it browns, flip it, brown the otherside, done.

What do I cook it on in the oven? Pie is a good one!

Toast bread in oven on foil or just oven rack. Takes about eight mins, I flip to other side half-way.

As for cake replacement do fruit pizza. It's a pizza but with fruit on top and the crust is usually a giant sugar cookie. You make sugar cookie dough and bake in pie pan. You can use whip cream or regular frosting for "sauce" then put sliced fruit on top..

Banana muffins with cream cheese frosting?

Just don't add nuts.
I plan to make banana bread muffins for LO with cream cheese frosting on his first birthday. Cake for everyone else. LOL

I use that cream cheese fruit dip on mine!

you could do a fruit pizza, or mini ones. It's just sugar cookie dough with a cream cheese mix or what not, and then topped with fruit.

I could eat it with a spoon by itself. It's freaking amazing

I didn't want to because I was pretty sure my DH was getting me some for Christmas but my BFF says he thinks he has.one.
