Need opinions on desert

I want to make a pumpkin trifle for desert with layers of vanilla cake, a pumpkin layer and dream whip for my SOs family. I was thinking of mixing some canned pumpkin with vanilla pudding and pumpkin spice for the pumpkin layer so it doesnt have that uncooked pumpkin texture. Does that sound ok??

Humm...Never seen it. I make alot with pumpkin, I always add a bit of sugar (like in a pumpkin pie). With it being cooked I think that sounds ok.

I make pumpkin pancakes, to die for!!!
