Germany

With my husband's reenlistment coming up we just got news that we'll be PCSing to Germany. He has to report there in August. We're both very excited!  
Now, I'm worried about being on a plane that long with DD. She's never been on one and she'll be close to 2 years old when we leave. Any tips?
Also, have any of you traveled taking your dogs with you over there? Just curious about the approximate cost of taking them. (We have two.) We already know their breeds are accepted, we'll need to get one of them chipped, and we'll have to have their shots up to date with their shot records. Getting the crates we need are no problem along with the bag of food. I just can't imagine leaving them behind. They're my kids too.

Congrats! I don't have any advice or anything because I've never been and DS hasn't been on a plane yet but that's so exciting

Thanks! We're so excited! We'll be there for 3 years and a possible 6 if DH decides to reenlist again and choose to be stabilized over there for another 3.  
All we've been hearing is how beautiful it is and it's a great place to be stationed. The more I think about it the more excited it get!

That's awesome! He should find out where we're going in the next few weeks or so. Hubby is in the process of re classing.

DH wanted to reclass but they wouldn't let him since his MOS is balanced now. Not a big deal. I can't wait to find out where we'll be going.
