Both have what I'm looking for:
-dark leather interior
-heated seats
-remote start
-sunroof
-bluetooth accessible
-awesome gas mileage (sonata is 24/35, cruze is 26/38 )

And they're just a couple hundred off in price from each other, so price can't really settle this for me either.   And both of them come with awesome warranties.

That's what I thought too at first, but then when they showed me the black.. I liked the white SO much more!  

My mom has a Cruze...I freaking LOVE it. Its super cute, and FAST! lol and saves gas. I have a big ol SUV and put $80 a week in gas. Used her car for a week and put $18 in gas!

I am a Sonata driver, and I fell in love. I will be getting another Hyundai if mine ever kicks the bucket, but I don't think it will. No problems.

I need a car with amazing gas mileage this time around because my DH has a big 'ol F150 and we all know how craptastic truck gas mileage is.   So, I figured if I got something with awesome gas mileage, then it'll kinda even us out.

I voted Sonata.
I don't drive a Sonata, but I do have an Elantra. I LOVE my Hyundai. We've had it for 3 years. Rides great, excellent mileage, love the warranty! My biggest thing when we were looking for a new car was safety. Heathen was 15 months when we bought it. We've made several trips from NC to PA and back, and it's never failed us

What year do you have?

I've heard such great things about both and when driving both of them, I liked them the same.  

Black cars show up scratches and dirt alot worse than other coloured cars so based on that i would get the cruze but if u have other colour options in the sonata i think it looks fancier lol

With whatever car I get, we'll be using it for our traveling vehicle (instead of my husband's truck!) and we make the trip from KS to MT (1500 miles) 3-4 times a year, at least.. so I really do need something that holds up well.

I really like the elantras too!

Very true! I still say the Crsze, its a Chevy. lol Not knocking the Hyundai, but Ive always heard once they break they are done and dont last as long. But I dont know how true this is, Ive never owned one personally.

This was my last car


..and I never noticed anything more than I would have. Plus, I'm really weird and I don't like colored cars.   I've literally only owned black, white, silver, and gray vehicles. LOL.

I wish we would have gotten the Sonata just for more room.
The next car will probably be a Sonata for that reason. But it's just the 3 of us, and it's not a problem really.
