Helping a friend with adoption?

So my friend is pregnant with the 3rd time and for a number of reasons decided it's in everyone's best interest to give the baby to a family she knows that would love the baby. She's having a really hard time with it though, and getting really depressed feeling the baby kick and stuff. I've never been in this situation so I don't know how to help, or how I can be supportive without being insensitive. Any suggestions?

Just be there to listen and a shoulder to cry on. You don't need to give advice or suggestions just be there.

For your friend it probably is. In her position that is all I would want 100% support, no unsolicited advice or suggestions.

Thank you   I get the feeling from FB post that very few people are supporting her in this so I want to make sure she knows I'm here for her.
