is this okay to do or not safe?

posted 6th Dec
Okay so i need to take a shower before heading out. DS is awake and no1 to watch him while i take a shower. Would it be okay if i pull his bouncer in front of the bathroom door and leave the door open while i shower and just pull back the clear curtain so that i can still see him while im in the shower?

When my SO worked first shift this is how I showered daily. if she was sleeping I would wheel in her bassinet.

I do it all the time, or I put him in his pack n play or bed. They're ok by themselves even if they are awake. As long as its a safe place.

That's what I do. I check on him every minute or so to make sure he isn't crying. Most of the time the sound of the water puts him to sleep.

I used to put my kids in their car seats or bouncers and bring them in the bathroom with me all the time.

I'm sure it would be fine, but I would prefer to have him within arm's reach in case he needed something.
Bring the bouncer in the bathroom and just set it outside of the shower. The steam will be good for him, with it getting colder and congestion becoming pretty common.

if he could sit up on his own i prolly would just have him in there with me. Is there anything i can buy for him to sit in in the shower with me besides a baby bath? Something that doesnt take up a lot of room?

Totally! I used to set DS in his carseat and plop it right in front of the shower so I could play peek-a-boo with him throughout my shower. Hahaha the multitasking mother's are forced to do lol
