I have never gotten the flu shot in my life.
My husband use to not, but now he has to since he's in the military and they make him.
My son doesn't get the flu shot either. I'm a stay at home mom.. he's not around tons and tons of kids and we eat super healthy. Also, I have known people who have gotten sick FROM the flu shot itself..My son and I had the flu last year. It lasted a day or 2 and it was over. Built up are immune systems

I do because my job requires it barring any allergies.

She had a rare (1 in 3 million) disease (necrotic pneumonia) that people usually get after the flu, however this girl was only sick for 2 days before her mother took her into the hospital. It was the bacterium that attacked her lung tissue that caused her death, not the flu.
But anyways, no we don't get the flu shot because I don't think it's necessary.

I feel that every year, we are told that this year is "the worst ever" in terms of flu. I think its a lot of hype personally.

I got H1N1 when my daughter was three months old because I didn't feel her little body was advanced enough to fight something like that, but now I think she has a good level of immunity.

Also, at the speed that the flu mutates the shot is only good until about New Years. Its not worth all those chemicals for a few weeks of protection for us.
