I am currently 37 weeks, but my baby boy is literally getting too big. I cant get comfortable, I can't sleep, and he is running out of room. The doctor said he has dropped and can come any day now, so is there anything I can do to help along labor?
Sex & walking. Not saying it will help you go into labor, but it could help you progress some. Baby will come when he is ready. It really doesn't matter what you do.
um, wait? He will come when he is ready. Everything you described is what every other woman goes through towards the end of pregnancy. But I can say is walk, and go up and down stairs and just drink lots of water.
Why do you think he is too big?
There is nothing you can do that bring on labor.
If you're worried about sleep now, just wait until after baby actually gets here.
You have three weeks to go. I understand being uncomfortable but letting your little one "bake" for as long as possible is best. When it comes to this you should just understand that the pain is worth it so your baby gets his/her much needed time in there.
I went to 42 weeks, and was completely miserable. I started bouncing on an exercise ball, walking up and down staircases, I started jogging, and then completely gave up and laid in bed for a week, lol.
The doctor said if he gets any bigger I would have to have a c-section, I want to have a vaginal birth. And I realize every woman goes through this I'm not trying to complain I just do not want to have a c-section. Thanks for the friendly replies.
I would wsit for at least 40 weeks before starting anything unless you have a condition like pre e or ruptured membranes. Otherwise nipple stimulation, bouncing on a ball, sex, castor oil.37 is a little early as they still ave some developmental changes to go through.
my mother when she was pregnant 35 years ago with my brother measured 52 and she is only 5'1 I think of her every time I feel uncomfortable just measuring 3-4 weeks over my brother was almost 10lbs and 24inches long... again my mom is 5'1... she deserves and award! A natural birth even.
