I was a "teen" mom when I had my first daughter. I've never gotten flack for it because I don't go around acting like a little twat.

Im confused on the whole single but not wanting to step up part. According to her profile, She got with Some guy, after she found out she was pregnant...

I mean, Unless she never told him, Then he found out and left... Just seems odd to me

Same here! Lol. The only time I acknowledge it I guess is when people ask how old I was when I had DD. (I was 19).

I was you a long time ago...I had my first when I was 16 but I was preg with him while I was still 15. Best advice I could give is stay in school. I graduated with a highschool diploma at 17. Took a year and a half off from school and saved up from my waitressing job and bought my own car. Then started nursing school at 19 just 3 months after I had my second child. I had to live in section 8 housing till my schooling was done but I did it and I let no one hold me back or tell me that I couldnt do it. Today im 29 married to the father of all my kids and we are expecting #4 and the last in about 2 weeks. I have a great job that is rewarding and I make almost 6 figures a year. Keep your head up and do not drop out.

I feel like really young teen moms will say they're "Teen Moms" to get some kind of sympothy..if that makes any kind of since.

One of my biggest pet peeves is seeing, "just because I'm a teen mom/young mom doesn't mean I won't be a good one" it just grinds my gears lol

I consider myself a young mom. I had him when I was 22...

You are making absolutely no sense. You found out you were pregnant in June, You started dating this guy in July, and your due in feb. So your going to sit here and tell me he left when you were 3 weeks, and your only going to carry this baby for 8 months?! That makes a TON of sense. You might want to change your story a tad.

I feel the same way. It is for sympathy.

I had my second daughter (only living child) when I was 20.
