Polio was started at 9 months. And the hep b was started at 6. We also don't do flu or chicken pox vaccines. DS isn't old enough for the chicken pox one yet but I will be refusing it. The MMR was at 6 months also. I can't remember if we have delayed or refused any others ATM though lol

We follow the Dr Sears alternative schedule. Some are delayed, some we haven't done like chickenpox, flu, MMR..

ahh alright. how did you decide upon 6 months for those?

I guess I'm just confused how someone decides when to vaccinate... 3 mo, 6 mo, 12 mo? lol. Unless you follow a certain delay schedule...

Just from talking with his pedi and when I mostly felt comfortable with it. I knew from 6 months on we would be out in public a lot more and he had possible exposure to a lot more things. He isn't in daycare or anything like that but we have friends with kids that are. Overall, it was really just when I felt like it was the best time for him. I read excepts from books and articles but didn't follow any particular schedule from anything.
