Have you ever tried Prometrium (sp)? That is what I used. Two inserted vaginally everyday.

I used Crinone and it never helped raise my levels.

I just called and asked about Prometrium.. They said just continue the Endometrin 3 times a day.

I know that Crinone has little effect on blood levels because it goes straight to the uterus. Other suppositories may be the same way. It doesn't mean they're less effective, just not much in the blood. I wouldn't necessarily count on your RE's office to know that though (lol). If you want it to show up in the blood the best way is with PIO injections.

I have heard that too.

From doing the Prometrium vaginally through my levels were really high. Thankfully. It gave me some reassurance anyway.

My RE's office really sucks..   They don't know what they're doing. Your treatment plan changes depending on who you're talking to.

What I don't get is; when I TTC'ed DD before we started treatments they prescribed me PIO just in case I need it. This time around they won't discuss PIO with me unless I'm pregnant. I told them several times that I had to take PIO with my daughter because my progesterone dropped, I was almost 5 weeks along.

I guess I take Endometrin 4 times a day now

I wish I could send you my leftover PIO but I swear we JUST threw it out.

At least at my RE's office they prefer crinone as it more directly works on the uterus and has greater overall effect on the lining stability. Side effects are usually less as well since it's locally acting, not systemic. My RE's office has been known to do a combo of oral Prometrium as well as the crinone suppositories. I think that would only be extreme cases though.
