Progress at last!

Okay so no 'natural' progress but have my first sweep booked for the 11th and induction date set for the 17th... 13 days after my due date  
Would love to go naturally but at least i have a date to go by  

Just wondering how well your sweeps worked? Did they send you into labour that night? Not work at all? Just wondering to see if theres a good chance it will work

My sweep didn't do anything for me at all.

I would say after u get it don't walk walk and more walking bring the baby down to maybe move things along..I've never got one done.some say it works some say it don't..but I guessing if u get it done and walk as much as u can it will help bring baby down to push on ur cervix and hopefully start things ..good luck

Ive had friends who've had sweeps and inductions the sweep did nothing and she had to be induced 3 times and still nothing, then they finally broke her water 3 days later, hopefully you have your baby naturally, good luck.

I had sweeps with both my kids and it worked both times. I delivered within 24 hours.

I had a sweep done yesterday. I'm pretty crampy today with lower back pains and pains in my thighs. Hopefully it's stirred something up!! I am 4cms tho, not sure if that makes much of a difference. Good luck tho!! I'd love to know a set date lolol

I guess it works for some and not others :/ we shall see whether it works flr me or not... She is being stubborn though so maybe it wont help haha!

Did your sweep hurt? Kinda anxious about it being painful

Ooooh hope this is it for you mamma! Dont know how dilated i am, wonf be checked until 11th haha so we shall see

Yea, it was super uncomfortable and hurt- but it's over really quick.

With my son i had 2 SS and neither worked ended up being induced, with this one they tried to do a sweep last When i was 39 weeks nothing as my cervix was still closed so she couldnt do it! Got another one booked in for tomorrow AM dont know a time just morning at some point, im cacking it they fricking hurt! Just prepare yourself, my cervix is quite far back and so she really has to dig deep (TMI i know) I cried at 2 of my 3 and i dont know if thats because i wasnt dialated at the first 2 my first son and this one, the second with my son wasnt so bad! so im guessing i was a little dialated but it still didnt spring me into labour, Im hoping as im having prodromal labour and have been for the last week that somethign will happen tomorrow!
