They sell stuff like that at Walmart. They have different flavors like chocolate and vanilla, peanut butter chocolate and cookies and cream. My friend uses these with her son who is only 20ish pounds. He eats all the time but doesn't gain.

My boys are small as well my 7 year old is barely hitting 50lbs and my 12 yr old is 92lbs...they always run small on the growth chart. I have bought the pediasure shakes and encourage them to have 1 a day. Some kids are just smaller than others they all grow at their own rate. I wouldnt stress it.

Please dont take that advice OP!!!!

They sell shakes for children, pediasure, that helps fill in nutritional gaps from picky eaters.

Agree!!! dont give your child whey protein--thats for muscle building. Theres all kinds of little snacks and things made just for children if his pediatrician really feels he needs substitutes.

Kids should eat 1/2 gram of protein for every pound they weigh, he's already underweight, its not a meal replacement, kids need 15-20% of protein in their daily diet, he's not going to be pounding shakes and hitting the gym, 1 or 2 small shakes on top of his regular diet will not hurt him...

They should be eating nuts, meats, beans ect for protein. An ADULT whey protein shake is NOT for children.
