That's how I see it. My son started hitting recently. BD made a comment about spanking, and I'm like.."ssooo, he's hitting, and you want to punish him by doing it back? Please tell me how he's going to understand it's wrong?"

Colleen has never, that I've ever seen, made anyone feel bad for their parenting style. Nor have I seen her get defensive...she rocks & she knows it.


Maybe I read that wrong. I feel all defensive over Colleen right now.  

not spoiling a kid prevents spoiling... i dont understand how spanking prevents that... my parents spanked me when i was bad and didnt listen... i wont spank dd ever. but 11 months... wtf is wrong with her

We had a co-op this morning for school with the kids, and I'm about to clean my house now   I'm a real party animal. Oh, and we have gymnastics tonight

We'll go out to eat at some point, it is Matthew's second birthday on Sunday, so we were going to take him somewhere.

There was a box of fancy chocolates on the kitchen table this morning and a 4 pack of starbucks frappachinos in the fridge with a note on them that said happy birthday. He said it was "the first to come", but I don't know what that means. He never buys gifts, so who knows.
