tell me why

I should be responsible for my idiot brother who 'stole' a car and got himself arrested?

My mom just called me and asked me to call every towing place in my hometown because the woman is going to press charges on him for stealing it if someone doesn't pay the towing fee.. And she won't tell us who towed it..

Just to be clear, he technically didn't steal the car. It's his girlfriends mom's, but she is going to say he stole it unless someone pays the tow fee.. But still.. How is that my responsibility?

These crazy people.. Glad I moved 3 hours away and stay out of their drama.. Try to anyway.

obviously dhe doesnt want to pay. If its stolen, she doesnt have too.

If he had the keys theres not much she can prove he stole it, my ex crashed my car, police said cuz he had keys, he prob had permission... I had to bend over and take it from ins. company, it became my fault.

Police who arrested him can tell u where car went, i got arrested and they told my mom where yard was, she was on title also so she got car out before i got out

I dont know if I am the only one that think this story doesnt add up.

She can't press charges now I don't think, and the owner of the car is only 1 that can get it out, if she's the owner she's responsible... police impound is no joke, lol my car was impounded for 5 days and it was like 800.
