Could she be!?

posted 6th Dec
My little sister, who is almost 20 is the SMALLESt person I know. Shes maybe 4'9 and 95 pounds. However, lately i noticed her boobs are getting very full (they are normally flat) and her belly has a little roundness to it, like bloating (obviously she wouldnt be showing yet...) When i asked her when her last period was she kind of got this wierd horrified look on her face. (We figured out that she missed a period last month and is now 5 days late for this months period. So, naturally, we bought like 4 pregnancy tests and they were all negative. last night, first morning, and this afternoon. But i would bet my entire savings account that SMOETHING is up... But why still negatives if shes around 9 weeks?

I took so many tests at home; all of them said negative. I had to get a blood test and sure enough: pregnant.

Yes, we are calling around everywhere. She JUST lost her medical insurance because she moved out of my moms house and is not a full time student. Im on the phone (on hold) with the health department right now as i type this waiting to see how much it would cost to get a blood test... She can get health insurance right away once she gets a positive from a doctor.

There are free clinics around here. I always go to one to get my pregnancy confirmed to get back on health insurance and to make an appointment with a doctor.

well, shes pretty honest and i think she wants to know too. Shes a smart girl. Shell be alright either way.. shes just been working and going to school part time. So i really think she just didnt put 2 and 2 together. Hopefully the blood test is conclusive so she knows. Whats going to be crazy is if its negative because shes definately got something going on.

She asked for my help, I honestly dont think she even thought of it until i asked her when her last period was. She and i are really close. I just never heard of someone testing this far along (assuming shes pregnant), especially with first morning urine, and still had it negative. So i guess well just have to see what the health dept. says.

My sister would be pissed if I was like "you're looking thicker in the waist these days. Is it a baby?"
