It could just be her age. I gained about 10 lbs when I turned 23 out of nowhere.
It hit my little sister around 19ish though. She really thickened out and her and I were always the same size growing up. Now she's about 20 lbs heavier than me and it's mostly in her boobs, hips and thighs.

This!! I completly agree. I mean if she is she is thats her buisness and she can tell who ever she want when she wants to. If she isnt she isnt. She might be a late bloomer. Who know but she needs some space unless she is seeking for help in figuring this out.

No no no. lol. Im not like all up in her business dragging her around or calling her fat! Im only doing all of this because on top of the weight and boob gain, shes two months late, and shes asking me to help her with this or i would back right off. Shes freaking out. I just wondered how common it was for people to have so many negative HPTs and then find out theyre pregnant by a blood test. Thats all. she has an appointment tomorrow morning at 9.

Oh ok wow 2 months def make an appt for blood tests. At this oint it can be anything is hard to tell. Is there other symtoms she is javing?

She may be about to start her period. I mean, bloating & swollen breats happened to me everytime I was about to start mine. She may be stressed out, which could be why she hasn't started yet. I mean, just a thought. But if you both think she could be I would definitely get a blood test. Chances are she isn't as far along as she thinks she is.

True!

I was always a skinny mini...and when i hit age 20, i my metabolism started to slow a little and i'd get bloated, gain a little weight on and off in the middle. SInce shes so small..any sort of water retention, gas, bloating, few pounds..is gonna show more. Even after i had my son..im still on the thin side even tho my tummy doesnt look the same after being pregnant..but i still get bloated to the point where i look 5 months pregnant.

*update*

She was indeed pregnant, however she started to bleed at about 4am this morning. She went back to bed but was woken up with horrible cramps. She went into urgent care and they said according to her blood test she was pregnant, but was most likely miscarrying due to her beta levels (sp?) and amount of bleeding. Doc sent her home with pain meds and made a follow up appointment to be sure everything passes. She plans on discussing Nuvaring at her follow up appointment.

That's crazy timing!
Anyway, I wouldn't recommend Nuvaring. I got pregnant on it, and I've heard a LOT of girls on here say they did as well. Also it made me a nasty bitch the entire two months I was on it, like constant PMSing.

Yeah the timing was crazy! But at least she didnt really have a chance to be excited about it before she miscarried. (I know that sounds horrible). We have another sister who knew she was pregnant for a month before she miscarried and had told everyone... i dont know. As far as birth control goes, shell just have to try a few out and see what works for her. There are people who love and people who hate all of them.

How far along did they say she was? Hopefully everything turns out okay and the baby sticks.
