Old wives tale about heartrate and how your carrying.

Hi all. Im due May 1st. I dont know what im having yet and wont know until this Monday coming up. Im wondering if anybody has carried low and had a girl....Im carrrying low. My babies heart rate was 167 the first time I heard it. Bumped up to 179 and for the past few app stayed down in the 140's. So if my babies heartrate is lower then 160 does that mean boy. Whose made the old wives tales wrong. Really wanting a little girl first. But everybody keeps saying its a boy since im carrying low and have a lower heart rate.

I carried high and the HB was 160-180 and I had a girl.

My Son's HB has always been high. Like 160+.

My girls' heart rates were in the 150s. This baby is in the 160-170s n I'm almost positive it's a boy.

My first two girls had lower heart rates in the 120-140 range. This baby has settled into the 140's now and she's a girl. With my first, I carried high. With my second I carried low. This one I've been carrying pretty much in the middle. Proof to how wrong the wives tales can be.

I def. proved the old wives tales wrong they say if you are having a boy that the heart rate is low... well all 2 of my girls where in the 120's and 130's and now I am pregnant with a boy his heart reat is 150's. I have carried high for everyone. Good luck

My daughters heart rate was always higher and now my sons is the same. I gained almost 100 pounds with my daughter and with my son i have only gained 20 pounds and due in one month. very tiny compared to my girl. The thing I did notice is with my girl all i wanted was Sweets adn with my boy all I want is salt. lol. old wives tales and jsut guesses.

How can you tell if you are carrying high or low?

Im carrying high and im having a girl, cant remember what they said her heartbeat was though

Do you feel as if baby is in your ribs or you are about to smurf it out?

i am low for my son and at first his HB was 160+ now it stays around 145 to 150 my little girl was the same way at first it was 160s and went to 151 till she came...

So the old wives tales are sometimes right and sometimes wrong in yalls cases. Alot of mine are leaning towards a boy. But some a girl. Im carrying under my belly button but I sometimes feel my baby kicking above my belly button. My babies heart rate has been all over the place. From 179 to the lowest 141. I have craved nothing but pizza and cheddar chilli dogs. Its about the only thing I wanna eat. On mine and my boyfriends side of the family. Everybody has girls first. Were really hoping for a girl and have figured out themes for our nursery and shower and we have a name picked out. For a boy we havent done nothing. 3 More days and ill find out my babies sex. =)

i love pizza with this baby but i dont know if i would go my cravings they say sweets ur pregnant with a girl well my 2nd son i cound not eat enough strawberry short cakes i even did a gender test from the drug store with this baby and is said girl all signs said girl well he is a boy 100% he shows it to me ever u/s..lol

I proved it wrong.
I went by all the old wives tales and my little boy has had a high heart rate up until last month and is definitely ALL boy.
Having a boy first won't be all that bad though. When you do finally have your little girl she can have a big brother to protect her! :

Having a boy wont be bad first. Its just we've been leaning towards a girl since the beginning. So we got our mind set on all girls stuff. Lol.
