Sign of impending period? help?

So, since having my daughter 10 months ago, my periods have been pretty wonky. I'm trying to be intune with my body, and tell when it's coming... it's really tough. I thought I had ovulated a week (almost 2 weeks) ago, but my cervix had remained closed despite EWCM and every other sign of impending ovulation. My last period was Nov. 14th, and it ended after 3-4 days. Before that, my period was the end of September... Before that, end of july/beginning of august... My cervix is still closed, I'm cramping, peeing, and irritable... I'm crossing my fingers that my cycle starts to even out, but I'm going crazy :S I'm going to take a test this weekend to rule out pregnancy, though I don't think I am. Based off of my cycle before my daughter, my period should have came yesterday. Based off of new cycle, anywhere between the end of december to the beginning of January....

I can't see a Doctor, unless I go to the ER (our doctor is military, and just got posted to a different province)... And I don't feel like this is ER worthy.


So, my question...
Does anyone else with a lengthy cycle feel like this?? After having a baby, and assuming you had a 28 day cycle before (like I did,) did you ever get it back??

mine took a yr and a half to get back to normal..

Ugh. lol I hate not having normal cycles, I was so happy to get it on time lol

I went from having a 28 day cycle before my last son, im 14 months pp and am at a 35 day cycle... I got a cycle app on my phone and that helps keep me sane... Im overly paranoid... My last baby was born with mirena in place.... Every time we have sex i wake up and am positive i got preg lol sucks...

I don't have a phone, so I can't download any apps. Would be nice, though... I think my last period was September 26, but I could be wrong...

Just did the math :S... my last cycle was 50 days!
