I think it really depends on the situation... how old/mature your child is and whether or not all other needs have been fulfilled. But ultimately its every parents decision to make on their own. You know if your abusing your kid or not.

Well shes never been a napper after 8 months she dropped to one nap she fights bed time to she screams bloody murder and i dont know why i dont know if shes scared or something

My 18 month old has been like that for months. Life got easier when I just didn't push the nap. Sometimes she will lay quietly but if she's fussing too much I'll just get her up. Sometimes I try again, most of the times not. She sleeps 12+ hours at night so I'm happy with that
