What on earth is a bubba, and is he on antibiotics? Just take a syringe and squirt it into his cheek.

Thats what I'm wondering too.... :/ Yes, and if hes sick, you need to use a syringe or a medicine dropper and squeeze it in his mouth!!

I had to sit on and hold down my daughter until she was about 4. Kid hated medicine. She doesn't even remember now, she is 6. If he is on antibiotics then he needs to take them, and you need to just do it.

I haven't had a kid sick here in years which also means I don't have a temp thing. Yes last night 11pm is when he started getting really hot I looked for meds couldn't find any, and then put him in the bath for an hr. Had a wash cloth, found some meds around 1pm and then we just woke up around 9am and I still can't get him to take the meds.

so you're talking about like tylenol? If he's just hot I wouldn't force meds on him. As long as he's acting ok, and drinking, he's fine. Fevers aren't always bad, it means their body is fighting off an infection

so let him sleep. He might just be tired from the fever. If he won't take medicine, and you can't force it down him, you really have no other option. All the doctor is going to do is give him tyenol and send you home

Let him sleep momma. Call your PCP if you're worried. I don't think you should rush him to the ER.
