Your kid's big gift for Christmas this year? For Parker he'll be getting the innotab 2, if any have it is it worth it? Seems like something he'd really like.

DD is getting a Nabi 2 tablet. Hopefully it lasts a few years because that's the only one she is getting!

Jack's getting a kitchen from the early 80s. Same one I had when I was a kid.

There's a stove, sink, refrigerator, and cabinet, all separate pieces.

Thanks! It was a pain to get it since the place doesnt ship to Cananda but fortunately my DH's cousin lives in Minnesota so it shipped to her place and she sent it to us!

DD is getting a ball tent with a crawling tunnel. We had an inflatable one that got holes during a move and she was heartbroken. So, hopefully this one holds up.

our almost 6 yr old daughter's big gift this year is going to be a Nintendo DS bundle. it comes with the DS, a case for it and 3 games of your choice(out of like 50 games).

i bought the Innotab for my DD last Christmas. about 6 months after buying it she cracked the screen. she left it laying on the floor an stepped on it by accident.

it was a cool little toy. i wouldn't buy another one though. she didn't play with it a lot for how much we paid for it. then again, she only had 2 games for it, plus a couple books on it, music and that's about it. so i think she got bored with it.

Yeah but it's more like a grown up tablet but it's for kids. It's got a mommy mode where you can download the apps and cruise the web (it's got wifi). The kids can go on the web. I don't know anything about innotab so I can't make a comparison. All I know is that out of all the kid tablets Nabi got the best reviews

Heathen got the Innotab last year. She loves it! It took a bit for her to get used to it, and to be able to actually work it, but now it's amazing! She calls it her 'reading' since I have a kindle and thats my reading. lol
But this year, her big thing is a trip to PA. We're going home for christmas and I'm just getting her a few things since I know our parents will be getting her stuff too.

Hopefully their iTouches....
