re: Adoption or ???

If we were going to adopt we would be more inclined to pay something after the fact such as the $10,000. Prior to the adoption we would not pay any medical or living expenses beyond what the agency demanded. It just adds insult to injury to pay all that money only for the mother to decide to keep her baby. Surrogacy would be difference because she would not have that choice.

It can go either way but traditional surrogacy is far less common these days and is generally frowned upon. If the intended mother cannot use her own eggs she will use an egg donor (separate party).

I somewhat agree except that she has done it with 2 of her children so that's why I think she just wants the money. Plus she still has her oldest, she doesn't work & lives off the government assistance. Also a couple weeks after birth she shows up with a almost new car all happy

Oh I thought you said her sister had her middle. I am confused haha. I do not agree with how she is doing it. I never have heard of a adoption agency that allows that. Is she going through a lawyer?

Sorry. She had her dd already, then she adopted out her second, kept her third (which is the baby her sister ended up getting custody of) and adopted out her 4th. I don't talk to her anymore so I'm not sure if she has any more children or not

And the fact that she keeps doing it, I don't see that problem either... I mean, she is giving the baby to a good home and those parents wanted a baby. Who cares if the parents decide to give her a "gift" of 10K or not.

I wouldn't do it, but I cannot say it's the worst thing in the world.

I wouldnt do it as pregnancy makes me miserably sick! $10k wouldnt be enough lol
She is doing something that will bring incredible joy to another family. Based on what i spent on IVF, expenses plus $10k is a good deal for the adoptive parents.

I hate pregnancy too... Seriously, I know I want another kid but I don't know if I could honestly handle another pregnancy!
