if you had an abortion and another child

Did you have complications in the pregnancy? My friend is having issues with miscarriages and hemorrhaging in multiple pregnancies after an abortion years ago. Any ideas?

Not an abortion, but a d&c due to blighted ovum. I'll be 15 weeks pregnant tomorrow, so far so good.

A friend of mine had an abortion, went on to have 3 healthy babies and 1 miscarriage.

Nope. I've had two abortions and no complications with pregnancies after. It's possible-but very unlikely-that her difficulties are related to her abortion.

Maybe she has scar tissue build up related to the abortion? Fibroids? Could be a lot of things.

She had a miscarriage, blighted ovlum and another miscarriage since.

I know a few ladies who've had abortions in the past & went on to have healthy pregnancies

No fibroids. The doctor never said anything about scar tissue. How would they tell?
