Ethan John Sinatra arrived on December 1, 2012 at 12:20pm.
He weighed 7lbs 14oz and is 21inches long!
My water broke at 5pm on friday. I went to the hospital and they started me on pitocin at about 8. I was still only dialted to a 1 1/2. I got my epidural at 11:30pm... I was in agony. I was only dialated to a 3. ;( At around 3:30am I finally was like a forceable 5. At 7am they were raising the pitocin every half hour. I wasn't in adequate labor, I was having contractions every 3 minutes. But they weren't strong enough to push out a 8lb baby they said. He wasn't dropping. ;( So after trying a bunch of different things to get my labor progressing. The on call dr finally called it at 11:30. After being on 18mg of pitocin, the baby wasn't dropping, I was still a forceable 5, and his heart rate was going through drops, I was on Oxygen for about 4 hours. And I started to get a fever. I was prepped very quickly, I was rushed into a C-section. ;(
I was very disappointed but after 19 hours of labor I was done. But I have my healthy handsome baby boy!!
First time meeting him... I was hysterically sobing. lol
