They can do an exam when you're at the very end and tell you. I have little hips and was told I had a 70% chance of needing a csection because it would be such a tight fit. They were 70% wrong. I gave birth vaginally. If they tell you something like this tell them you would at least like to try to give birth vaginally.

Of course I'd try vaginal first I've heard a lot lately that doctors like to scam you into C-sections. My hips are wide to the look, but internally how wide they are make for a tight fit lol. They're so close together.
Definitely want to try vaginal birth first

Why what's wrong with a c-section ?

It's a major operation with major risk to mother and child. I'd strongly suggest research before letting an ob hack you open.

There is nothing wrong with needing a csection. However deciding to just go ahead and get one before trying to do it naturally isn't something I'd do. It's major surgery and the recovery time seems harder to me.

Im 5 foot and very tiny, short torso and small hips. Im 33 weeks and my ob stated that i am tiny but he hasnt mentioned anything about c-section. Im measuring two weeks ahead so i can fit him in there. Even though i look huge and he feels big, its some what a maraj (sp?) because im small so the torso fills up faster. Thats what my doctor said.

Yeah, Well I'll just see what he says when the time comes. Maybe we will just do it a bit early or something, or maybe it will be fine. We'll see.

My doctor was puzzled by me. I'm 5 feet a size 1 and I didn't show till my third trimester. That sucks that you haven't had any ultrasounds later to at least give you a guess

Don't worry you can lose it all after your baby is born. I did and I know a lot of other women that did too.

Oh my gosh I felt that way for months after I gave birth! It was all in my head cause I left the hospital in my skinny pre pregnancy jeans. It was all water!
