Please help ! tmi !!

First time mom here . I had my cervix checked today and I'm not dilated yet. I'm 35 weeks. I bled earlier ( dark brown ) and then it went away . But a few minutes again I went to the bathroom and I passed this big blob of brown blood when I wiped . what could this be? It was really big and now I'm crampy. My lower back aches . Should I call the doctor?

Mucus plug maybe? Idk

broen spotting and cramping after having your cervix checked is 100percent normal,

Sounds like your mucus plug. Completely normal. Drink water and lay on your left side to help the cramping. If the cramping gets worse and/or your having contractions 5-7 minutes apart for an hour call your ob :-) good luck momma!

I'm really not sure, sorry   But I would go in and get checked to be safe..

That's what it sounds like to me.

Could it be from getting my cervix checked today ? idk if I should lay here and wait or call . I'm kinda scared

This. Don't worry. Just drink water and lay on your left side   don't worry though. Its totally normal.

I never had any bleeding when having my cervix checked i know some people do but not everyone. what you experienced definitely sounds like your mucus plug. having your cervix checked wouldn't cause you to pass random bloody mucus clots every cervical check. Don't worry it's probably just your body preparing for labor!

i bled after every cervical check with both pregnancies. sometimes dots, sometimes a huge clot. remember brown blood is old blood. AND the mucus plug can regrow if it even was that.
