What was that all about??

I put DD to bed at 730 like normal well at 830 she started crying and crying and crying. I went in and tried holding her, rocking her, nursing her, rubbing her back, laying down with her..EVERYTHING I could think of!! Nothing was calming her down   So I put her back in her crib to go call my mom for help lol and she went to sleep. Not sure what that was all about but glad she's back to sleep. Just breaks my heart when she cant tell me what's wrong.

Maybe...I thought of that as I hit post. Because when she's had gas pains Ive always been able to calm her. Can 9 month olds have nightmares?? LOL

Maybe. I dont know...I didnt know someone so young could have nightmares or night terrors. This is the first time it has happened.

Yeah, lol when my daughter was 2-3 months she got them a few times but hasn't had one since..

They do oddly enough, maybe about a feeling they had before and didnt like (being hungry, wet, scared, alone ect) or saw, My four week old will have the 'falling dream' I think, he will throw his arms out like he is trying to catch him self and start crying I sooth him for a minute and hes out again....weird O.o

children do not dream let alone have a BAD one until 6 month and older.

OP, if your daughter is 9 months, she very well may have had a bad dream!

How do you know they dont dream?

Actually, they can start dreaming in the womb. Look it up

I was gonna say my LO is always fluttering his eyes and making sounds and smiling..looks like dreaming to me!
