re: Happily Marrired

Married 4 1/2 years now and I'm not happy. I feel like he's self centered and ignores me and my son most days. I hope he changes because I'm close to walking.

Im not married, but I have been legal defacto now for 9 years and we're 95% happy.

I am DH's 2nd marriage, and we are soooo happy! We've been together 3.5 years, married for just over 1 yr. He was miserable in his first marriage (for almost 10 years) and we have been through tragedy after tragedy but together we make the best of it. Life isn't worth living if you aren't truly happy. We rarely fight, and we just click so well. It's worth it to find that perfect match for you.

Over 8 years married here, and happily married. Don't lose hope, it is out there. I think majority of people either don't know or forget that every relationship requires work, and a lot of it.

like many couples, whether married or not, we have our ups and downs.
we have been together for 5.5 years and married for 3. we have gone through a lot and our last big fight was back in october that almost ended our marriage.

we sat down, talked, i cried. He cried ( this has been the only time i have ever seen him cry, ever )
we are now taking it one day at a time. forgetting the past and focusing on the present. And i love it.

honestly this has been the happiest i have ever been and i am loving him more every single day. more than i used to

I'm very happy at this point in our relationship. We're getting married in 2 1/2 weeks and I honestly think I will stay happy with him lol

We are very happily married, though we didn't used to be. We love each other more now than we ever have.

My DH and i are happily married, but ask me in a couple years lol

My husband and I just celebrated 9 years of marriage as of last month and we are truly, ridiculously happy. It hasn't always been that way... The early years were difficult. But our commitment has remained strong and it has paid off. Best advice I can give is to be continuously open and honest with each other about everything. Good luck to you OP!  

We're very happily married. Of course we have our arguments here and there, but we always work it out. Next month we'll be married for 3 years and we've been together for 8.5 years.
