Does this seem right.

my son was born 11/7 at 9lbs 5.9oz and 21 inches long today at the WIC office he weighed 10lbs 11oz and 21 3/4 long should i be concerned with him only gaining a little more then a lb in a month? they said he looks great i just want more opinions or should i go see a dr. sorry new mommy her so many concerns 

Babies typically lose some weight after birth and then start gaining shortly after. I think baby is right on track.  

I think that sounds perfectly normal. Most babies lose weight and they want them back at their birth weight by 2 weeks, so gaining a pound after that sounds fine to me. My son only gained maybe a pound and a half at his one month appointment. He was 6 pounds 7 ounces at birth and was 6 pounds when we left the hospital.
