When I get mine ill buy generic & bulk. Coupons & on sale. that way I can afford to buy a steak if I want one, or some decent coffee. I just signed up for just for u e coupons from safeway & got some great deals I saved $60 total off my bill

Jesus!! Our sales tax on everything here is 6% (not most groceries but some things are taxed.)

Uh yeah. But I'd like to be able to spend that $700 on strictly treats. However, I have to actually buy meals. There are times where I'd like a shake or something... and I can't buy it because I had to pay bills and buy groceries. So, no, I can't afford treats all the time.

And I agree. But honestly a lot of that money is for meals. The only 'junk' we buy is pop, chips sometimes, and cereal. I buy ice cream when I have the extra money (my guilty pleasure). But it's irritating to see people just be able to buy it whenever they want, because they can  


Like tonight at work... smurfing $30 worth of Red Bull on EBT. Because they can. I cringe having to pay $3 for a Monster.

I don't ever buy energy drinks or pop, rarely.juice, ice cream only when AF is here, one bag of chips per week. I have cereal stashed away because I buy a ton.when.it goes.on sale.

Again... this thing with SO... lol. I could care less what brand cereal is. It all tastes the same to me.
