then they get cut. were only planning on staying on til next month anyway when so is finally released back to work. but just because i bought those things doesnt mean im taking advantage of the system in anyway. it did what they needed to do, feed us. i remember going in for my interview to get them and they didnt lecture me about what i couldnt buy with my fs (besides hot n ready meals) and im sure they dont give a smurf what i do buy with them anyway

10 cent every can and at the dollar store it's 1.10 for a 2 liter and like 3.20 for a 12 pack (those are including the deposits you pay). He would get at least 200 (but I actually think it was over 300) a month and spend it all on pop!

of course its not like were eating chips donuts and soda every day. i mean im sorry this household isnt full of health freaks that eat perfect all day every day and were not going to change that just because we have fs

All I can say is people just need to stop jumping on people. I can tell you I don't have an education, I can't get a job as much as I try, my husband has to work hard labor because that's all he can get, we don't have much money, can't afford food, pay rent with my family unttil my husband starts making more money at his new job. I wish I could have done a lot in my life, but I have never qualified for anything. Not to go to college, not enough wok experience for jobs, can't get fs, nothing. It's sad at where I live, because there are even more people where I live that are worse off. And I have no children, except for being pregnant right now. All I can say it doesn't matter, she's doing what she has to to take care of her children, I would rather hear that, instead of she can't pay to feed her kids. And I believe all of you should be thankful of that. And thankful that you all can support your children and lives. I would love to be able to, but I literally can't because in everything the government doesn't believe I qualify. And trust me I know because I've been trying since the day I turned 18. I'm 21 now. Still don't qualify.

Really, I don't feel the least bit bad for the "poor" in America. Go live for a week in a real poor country and come back and be thankful for what you have.

I understand, but we have to take care of our own people before helping others. Otherwise our whole economy will fall trying to help different countries. And I do feel bad for the homeless here, there are a lot of Veterans who are homeless. They served our country, served and fought for our freedom and they are homeless, can't afford a home, healthcare, food, nothing. Sorry that's wrong, and anyone who thinks that's okay, well, go ahead live in another country, because I'm pretty sure they didn't want to fight for people who don't appreciate their freedom. None the less I do feel bad for the poor people in other countries, but we can't do anything about it. We need to help our country first. It's common knowledge as to people wouldn't help other families unless they had extrs to give, because they have to make sure their family is taken care of first. It should be the same with our country.
