Don't feel bad mama girls are a little more independent then boys.

My second I had a hard time bonding with as well, but my depression was starting to creep back up during that time, so that was probably the main reason. Plus like yours, my second was a MUCH easier baby to deal with and didn't need me as much it seemed. By now though (she's 3) we've definitely bonded and become very close, but it took awhile. I think it really helped when my older one started preschool and my youngest was at home with me all day alone. The one on one time made a big difference with our relationship.
