He's been offered asylum in Saudi Arabia, Ecuador, Cuba, and his foreign policy minister is supposedly in London.

Assad wants to go to a country with no extradition because we are now saying that we want him held accountable.

A lot of those countries like jordan, oman, and kuwait are very moderate countries though. I also would not like to see the death of sites of antiquity.

Oh, I know. I'm hoping to go to Kuwait sometime next year. I have a problem with some of the countries left on the map, like Egypt, Libya, and Sudan and there are countries that are "blown up" that I really like. There are only two that I want the entire place wiped out: Pakistan and Iran.

Eygpt and libya remain to be seen how they will turn out. Morsi's life expectancy doesn't look too good as it is anyway lol.

I'd be willing to "allow" extradition without fear of trials if he'd leave now. Then, I'd want the mossad involved :-)

Oh, no. He's got 100,000 people up his ass waiting to burn him out of the palace. He should have realized what would happen after what they did to Mubarak.

I always wonder why so many places have such issues implementing democracy, when others have no problems with it.

I think that he thinks there is a good chance that he will be hunted down and killed like Gaddafi in Libya. His father brutallly killed his own people too. Maybe he thinks it's his fate and he will use the gas.

It's an interesting topic... and certainly NOT one for the politically correct.

Because of people like me. I don't think radical Islamists can have a democracy. Sharia law is not able to be implemented in a democracy. The people over there are goat herding savages and will never be able to peacefully rule themselves as long as they are following the Muslim Brotherhood and radical Islam.

It's going to be very interesting heading into Pakistan with the way I feel about them. At least I have a Pakistani male guide instead of an Indian one.

Still...I can see myself getting beheaded on TV.

i have a very opinionated, ball-buster friend who went to Pakistan to vaccinate kids about 6 weeks ago. I was convinced that we was going to get kileed. Well, he made it and he said it was great and the people were wonderful. Prior to the trip, he did not think highly of the citizens.

Well I mean in general, even in places without religion. Some places seem to be able to do it, and others seem to have issues.
