You don't think he knows this? He isn't dumb. He's on the team because he wants to be just like everyone else. He knows his limits. He clearly just loves the sport. The point of inclusive sports is to treat all the players, disability or not, equally.

I would be very surprised if he were happy with the other boy throwing the match.

People with CP can be very smart. That boy knows.

Then he shouldn't be wrestling. You can't WANT to be treated like everyone else and then be treated special.

Um, it says in the article that intellectually he is fine... he just has physical disabilities.

He knows the boy threw the match.

Would you expect the other boy to sit there and grab the kid in a head lock and win? Then it would be about how cruel he was.

He looked and acted very happy on the news tonight. The coach just wanted him to know what it feels like to be on the mat and the other kid volunteered to do it. Its not a big deal. It made the.kid happy why make it more than that?

Yep. The boy with CP wants to be treated like everyone else. He can lose like everyone else.

Not to me. I'm positive he expected to lose, and that's okay, because he clearly loves the sport and wants to participate regardless. No one is forcing him to wrestle.
