It's because it's in vitamins and water supplies that they don't need it in toothpaste.

I don't really know much about it. Maybe call his doctor and ask him about it when they open.

I was told NOT to use infant toothpase by my kids dentist, he said it's actually BAD for them.

There is no reason to swallow fluoride. It is actually poison. I just brush my kids teeth with baking soda and water and then use a Plax rinse on a napkin and brush it over their teeth.
Here is a little clip of fluoride actually being poison.

Watch out because I do believe that all those "Nursery" waters out there contain fluoride as well. That's if you are using that kind, I never did, I just bought distilled water and used that.

Too much of ANYTHING (even vitamins) can be bad. Too much fluoride can be bad as well. I wouldn't reccommend fluoride toothpast at any age honestly.
Fluoride is definitely a good thing though! It has prevented alot of teeth issues since it was first put into tap water. But because it is already in so many other things you dont need it in toothpaste.

Too much fluoride can cause a ton of white spots on permanent teeth. I am living proof of that. My mom use to make us use fluoride toothpaste and drink fluoride water bottles on top of everything else that has fluoride in it. She just didn't know... Education is key to everything! We use fluoride fre toothpaste

I laugh at nursery water. Lol if you read the label it says must be boiled before using in formula. Lol and ppl buy it to avoid boiling water. Makes no sense. I use distilled water. Lol

My city doesn't put fluoride in their water. And I've always known fluoride to be ineffective unless it's applied directly to the teeth - toothpaste and mouth rinse and smurf.

It actually is effective but it is most effective when applied topically.
