when?

at what number in degrees for fever would you take your 1 year old to the ER? i can't get ahold of his pedi, he has a temp of 102.5 underarm. he is refusing any solids and barely taking liquids. other than that he's been acting normal.

I would take mine at 100.5! He's not bothered by being that hot???

At a year I wasn't concerned unless it got to 103 and would not go away with meds.

no he hasn't shown any signs of being bothered at least.

he has had two doses today so far, and it just keeps going up :/ it started at 101 and has gone up to 102.5 in the last 9 hours.

if it goes past 103. i think ER is in our future.

Oh he's 1, I thought he was younger. Umm I'd say if he's not bothered he's ok for now

You should really rotate Motrin and Tylenol every 4 hours. If the meds are taking it down while they are still in him then he should be fine. If the meds do not work at all you should see a doctor.
