ouch! help please

I think my ribs are bruised on my left side , it hurts so bad , i cant move or laugh or cough without being in pain , and i was reading it wont go away until my baby drops but im on bedrest and feel like she hasnt dropped because im not allowing her to by just being in bed, idk what to do to make the pain go away..... have any of u ladies had this? What helped u with the pain?

What did u do to relief some pain?

I was on bed rest, too. But never dropped until I was in labor. I am sure it isnt because of bed rest though.

I always found doing a stretch with your arm over your head and leaning your body always helps for a little while.

the only thing that helped was sitting in the bath water
it took the pressure off my ribs,but the second i got out the pain came back
i also had the same pain in my hips

theres not alot you can do about it  

My ribs are the same way, started on my left, and got worse once baby dropped. She dropped at 26-27 weeks, just complained to the doc. ICE PACKS just discovered that yesterday worked wonders. Fell asleep on my left side for the first time in weeks   and btw, when she/he starts kicking up where when they drop. It doesn't get better. Sadly.

Omg this pain is awful i cant take it anymore , idk how im gonna do it to go all the way to my dd like this

I posted a thread like this the other day. I had women giving me all kinds of advice. And a few told me that if it gets ridiculous like that. To call the OB and insist she do something. I've heard of a few women getting painkillers but other than that I can't see them doing much. Like I said Ice packs will help with soreness and make baby move down. They don't like the cold.
