Really? I always thought alcohol of any amount may hold a chance of hurting the baby.

Yeah. I have been drinking a lot of tea. It has gotten better. But I still have a runny nose and some sneezing.

A shot of whiskey won't hurt...lol But like the other momma said, tea and honey should work just fine.

There have been studies showing that small amounts of any alcohol are harmless. A lot of people think wine is ok, but it's really any alcohol just different amounts depending on the strength.

Me too. I was really really sick last week so I drank a ton of tea and honey, then yesterday I got a crazy bad sore throat so even more tea and honey, and some sorbet  
Now I just have the stuffy nose

What if you weren't a drinker in the first place? I don't drink so my alcohol tolerance is VERY low.

I was seriously considering a hot toddy last week but SO doesnt drink so I had no alcohol and didnt feel like getting any lmao

The way I see it is, they don't know the amount of alcohol it takes to cause Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. So, I'm not going to take that chance for smurf  
That's just me, though, I don't look down on other women who decide to indulge in a glass of wine just because I wouldn't.
