Plan B or implantation bleeding?

posted 5th Dec
So I'm a bit nervous. Two weeks ago I had my first PP period, 3 months after giving birth. One week later on 11/29 the condom fell off during sex and on the 30th I took Plan B. Now 5 days later, I'm having reddish brown spotting. Not even enough to mark a pad. Is this normal after plan B or should I be worried that it failed and its implantation bleeding? I've never had implantation bleeding before, nor any side effects of Plan B before.
When should I test to be sure?

Nobody?
Darn. I looked it up on yahoo too and lots of people had the same problem, but nobody posted again to say if they were pregnant or not.

Plan B can cause changes in your cycle or spotting like that. I believe it even says all that in the little booklet that comes in the box with it. I never had issues like that when I took it though.

I don't think I should be due for a period for another two weeks. But I just had my son and one PP period so far. So my 30 day cycle could have changed.

Yeah I've taken it 3 times in the past few years and have never had bleeding from it. Now this time I'm getting blood almost a week after.
Ugghh, I hope its just the pill.

I'd just give it about 2 weeks from the day you had sex and take a test. If the first one is negative and you still haven't got your period, then test again in a few days. It is possible for plan B to throw things off a little though.

Ok, thanks. I really hope its just the pill. Its to soon to be pregnant again lol.

Plan B treated me HORRIBLY. I vomited, had severe abdominal pain, and did bleed pretty much like you said you were. I even went to get checked out because I wanted to be sure I wasn't mc'ing and took it not knowing I was pregnant. I wasn't; I just had a horrible and painful reaction to the med.
