Can i get a flu shot

at 6 weeks?

The pharmacy told me yes but ask my Dr. but i dont have one yet.


I havnt told my mum im pregnant kinda cuz i think she will get mad and cuz i want to surprise her but she keeps asking why i wont get a flu shot.

which is making me irritated because its none of her business anyway but i think thats the hormones talking.

I assume you can. I asked my OB (I was probably 32 weeks or so though) if I was able to get a flu shot, being pregnant and all, and she actually gave me one there.

yes get one and try to get the whopping cough shot as well i did at 34 weeks and i wish i had gotten it sooner but i got the flue way before that and i was coughing and sick for almost 2 months and thats not good for the baby so get it asap!! ... also you could surprise your mom at xmas with a card and a ultrasound pic   if you can wait 3 more weeks  

Yes you can. Its even highly recommended for pregnant women. That being said I will never get a flu shot again because i feel they are pointless.

My midwife gave me a flu shot around 28 weeks. I dont think it matters how far along you are but most midwives and obs incourage flu shots during pregnancy.

I wouldn't but I think the flu shot is bullsmurf.

I wanted to get an ultra sound pic and put it in a frame and give it to her for xmas but the clinic i go to doesnt do ultrasounds and idk if they will order one or not but if they do ill have trouble getting there. :/

go with a friend and thats weird that the place u go to doesnt do ultrasounds im pretty sure your doc with schedule one for you before xmas but like i said better have a friend ready to take u when u do get one that way ur mom wont find out
