She won't eat cereal or baby food!

Our daughter is almost 5 months and when she was introduced to cereal (rice, oatmeal) and jarred baby food... she HATES it! I started with carrots for a week then switched to bananas the next. NOTHING... She is just content with her bottle. What do I do here?!?!?

I'd skip the solids for now and try to reintroduce them later. She doesn't need them, so it's not really a big deal in that aspect.

You stop feeding her baby food. Food before one is just for fun. All she needs is breastmilk or formula.

She isn't ready she doesn't need food until 1 year. Wait a month and try again.

Wait,it sounds like she isn't ready.

Cut out solids until a later time. She doesnt need them unless shes showing an interest or eating too much BM/formula. Shes not interested right now.

Don't worry about it. Just keep on with breastmilk or formula, that is all she needs. You can try in a month or so if you want. Her little body doesn't need anything else yet.

She's probably not ready if she's happy with milk and she is only 5 months so there's no rush
I've always been told solids after 6 months, solids between 6-12 months are for taste and formula/breast milk should be offered first. After 12 months encourage food first.

She isn't ready yet, and doesn't need it. Just keep feeding her formula or breast milk for now. She will be fine.

My daughter is 9 months and still won't eat cereal or baby food.
Not a big deal, she doesn't need it,

cereal is just a filler anyways... it has no nutritional value to it.
