Pesticides linked to food allergies

Thoughts?

I eat organic as much as possible, even BEFORE I got pregnant. Everyone gave me crap about it, but I ignored them. My kids don't have ANY allergies. In fact, the only thing wrong with ANY of my kids is eczema in my youngest, and that's as under control as I can get it.

i'm so far on the organic wagon i'm driving it. When i started my lifestyle change back in 2010 i had been trying to get pregnant for 2 years with no success. i had undiagnosed heart conditions that i had to wear event monitors for, and i was pre diabetic.

i switched to organic foods. i lost 54 pounds in 5 months, my heart problems are GONE, and i'm no longer pre diabetic. I also got pregnant within 8 months of the transition.

there really isn't ANYTHING anyone can say to convince me organics didn't have EVERYTHING to do with it.

I would not be surprised. They put so much crap in our tap water, and bottled water is even less regulated. Plus of course all the aweful chemicals on the food we eat...nothing but poison.

My daughters allergist told me that two years ago.
He said that why there is such a high amount of peanut allergies is because they rotate cotton and peanuts and they use a lot of pesticides on cotton, then peanuts are grown in the same soil. He said that EVERYONE should eat organic.

Is it expensive to eat all organic?? I would love to but there is only so much I can afford. Its the things like meat (way to expensive) and organic flour and sugar that just makes me feel like a total switch is so hard!! I am trying though.

I'm not even surprised.

I'm also convinced with all the steroids and hormones being pumped into everything its causing a lot of health problems and children to hit puberty faster.

I find it very expensive, I wish I could do all organic, but it just is too pricey.

They say if you can't afford all organic, just get organic for the foods you all eat most often.

I do our best to stay away from those things, sometimes it isn't in our budget, but I try very hard.

Me too. I go to our farmers market and buy all the vegetables and eggs and a couple other things but the rest I can only get at the wholes foods market and they are such rip offs, wayyy to expensive!!!

I try to stay clear of the "dirty dozen" and I go from there.
