will CPS take my son

I just had my son a month ago he will be 2 months on the 19th. I found out i was preg again last friday. my Ex fiance and i got into it really bad and i took my son and left. i went in on monday for a second opinion and i am preg. my Ex came tried to get me to come back to him but i told him i would never go back to him after all the stuff he has put me through, he got mad and siad he is taking me to court to get my son and my unborn baby. today he called me and asked me to bring my son to see him and i told him i didn't want my son around him and i wasn't going anywhere near him. he got mad and started making a bunch if threats he said if i didn't let him see my son i wouldn't live to see his first Bday. he told me that he was going to get a lawyer and take me to court to get full custody of my son and unborn baby and that he was going to call CPS on me so he could get my son away from me until so he could get him quicker and since i have and open case with my oldest that i don't have they will take him from me is this true?

He can threaten you until he is blue in the face, he can do smurf until you go to court. With the way he is acting you should call now and get ahead of him. Don't let him get your child because he can run off. Children need their mothers. I doubt he can do much of anything. If he is making death threats you need to record it and go to police as this will help you in the long run.

i would get a restraining order. then you can get all his threats documented which will make him less believable. i would say it's possible that they might take the kids but they probably will do an evaluation on your home before they do that and give you a warning. i had a friend who had gotten a 3 strikes warning. i also had another friend who had her kids taken for a while and then given back to her due to some false things her adoptive parents said about her husband. good luck!

I think it s depends on weather our not they feel you are providing good care for him.

No CPS won't take your child because the father wants to see him, they will tell him he has to go through the courts.

He threatened to take your life. Go to the courthouse and file for custody, saying you are withholding the child until court due to violence. You withhold him without reason or filing it could hurt you. I dont know about the cps thing. Why do you have an open case? and is your son in danger or bad living environment, cause if not I dont see why they would take him.

Why don't you have custody of your oldest? Why did CPS take her? The fact that you have an open case with CPS already will definetly come into play and very well may cost you this child.

Call CPS and say what? What exactly does he have against you?

Also don't let him know you have his threats as proof our that you are keeping document if them. Can't tell you how many times I see people tell someone they have evidence against them and tick them off more

Did you not read the part where he threatened her life? I wouldn't want someone like that around my son either. What if he gets mad at the baby?

OP, he can't legally take your son until the court orders it. I would be recording hostile conversations between the two of you. Go to a lawyer asap and file for sole custody.
Why do you have an open case with CPS? Unless there is proof that your son is living in a hostile environment, I don't see why they would be taking him.
