I am not at all dense but I do think that you are. She said she was claiming the children that were CURRENTLY in her care. The only reason the oldest boy got brought up was because of the last sentence in her original post that started this entire thing. If she chooses not to claim/mention him on a damn website then that is her prerogative.

And if you think she has that right then okay.... we are all entitle to different beliefs. Personally, if I gave up a child for adoption I would not claim it as mine. Anyone can make a baby (if they have the functioning reproductive parts).

I may have missed it...but I have been reading very carefully. I did not see anywhere where she said she wouldn't take the advice.

Maybe it was the fact this bs thread is still opened. She never acknowledged any advice that was given to her. So good job on your careful reading.

No i am annoyed. Not offended. You jumped in all ass hurt for op. All i did was tell her how it is. If neither of you understand that then thats on you. You get on someone elses post and jump all over everyone that tried to help her. Hmm yeah that makes sense....

If you do choose to take any advice from this, which you should, I wish you luck.

I don't control how you CHOOSE to interpret what I wrote.... but I was far from "jumping on anyone's ass." Like I said... I simply believe that one person should not judge another until they have walked in that person's shoes or lived that persons life. If I misinterpreted some of the comments that some people were making then that is my fault.

Yes, we are all horrible people because we couldn't understand what she was saying, or why she was claiming step-kids but not her own flesh and blood.

You can take that comment out of context if you want. I just don't think this is the place to get legal advice from.

Haha, I'm with you girl, I can't figure out why this is so confusing to people. I've been following this thread and I understand why she is being attacked. She's on a mothering site with mothers who don't understand her situation and probably can't fathom the thought of losing a child. It doesn't make her a bad person though, I think she explained herself pretty well. Her child is happy and healthy, why take him from his life now that she's clean and ready to have him back? That's not fair to him and I think we should commend her for making that decision.
