They don't realize how their actions will affect their children sadly..

This also does get easier day by day.. My sons father hasnt even spoken to him in six months. We have our days, but most of the time hes content with just mommy.

Yeah for me he's in and out and It's messing with her head because they do have a close relationship. ;/

That's exactly how my ex was..
It's smurfing sad..

My theory is that once the kids are old enough they'll have resentment towards them later..

Well not exactly the same.. but similar.

I have 3 kids. My oldest's father was deported back to MX. I left him when I was about 2 months pregnant because he changed.. like.. he didn't want me to go anywhere.. I felt trapped. He didn't see her til she was 6 months old cause he moved a couple hours away after I left him. We tried to make it work and after I'd been with him 2 months I decided that it was time to test him. If I was going to be with him I had to trust him with our daughter. He ended up taking her into his cousins bedroom and locking the door. I don't think he did anything to her.. but still it aint right. I called the cops and we left that night. He's only had supervised visits since.. maybe once a year.. twice if he was lucky. She's 4 now and he just got deported this year.. in like early october.

Anyway.. I met my husband when my daughter was 14 months old.. and I got pregnant with her brother shortly after... then we got married before he was born.. he's been in and out of my home... he wants me for a while.. then he wants to get away.. When our was a little over 1yr I got pregnant with my 4 month old.. my husband split when I was 32 weeks with him... wasn't at the hospital when he was born and didn't come visit even though he knew I had had him. Now he's saying he wants to make it work again. I just don't think I should.. :/
