Boobies

posted 5th Dec
Im currently 21 Weeks pregnant. It's my third pregnancy and I've never had this issue. For about two months my boobs hurt!! Like horribly hurt to the touch my nipples are dry and peeling. I know it's normal my question is what can I do to help the pain? Once I like squeezed them and made alot come out and they didn't hurt for like two Weeks it was great, but can I keep doing it and still have enough pre milk for when baby gets here??

Have you tried putting Lansolin cream on them? That should help with dryness.

I would put it on often then. Maybe it will help more that way.

This is my 2nd pregnancy and I am experiencing extreme pain as well. My boobs were sore during my first pregnancy but not anything like this. For me it's more in my left then my right and most the pain is in my nipple however if I touch the skin on my boob while it is hurting, it feels like a burning sensation. So far I have tried putting warm compresses on and medela nipple cream on, nothing has helped. I find the easiest way to relieve the pain is to not have my boobs confined to a bra, when I let them just be free the pain comes a lot less often, but this can be a challenge when I'm out in public and an episode of extreme pain comes on. I usually atleast just try to pull my boob out of my bra and let it sit underneath my shirt/jacket until the pain is gone.

My pain is more my left also and nipple area they are constantly hard and hurt to be in or out of a bra. They get like rock hard and just hurt. I've tried everything is it okay for me to squeeze a little pre milk out that's the only way they stop I'm just scared I won't have any more pre milk. . . .

I'm 30 weeks along and my boobs hurt like crazy as well. I find that taking hot showers and letting the colostrum leak out on its own works pretty well. If I'm not in the shower or can't get to one, I squeeze a bit out. You will NOT run out of colostrum for your baby. It is always producing. Just don't milk yourself dry or the pain will become worse because you will be producing even MORE colostrum to make up for what you took.

I actually tried pumping the other day, I couldn't take it anymore. I didn't get anything out but I definitely got relief! It's mainly my left breast, but I also have fewer milk ducts in my right..
I wonder what is causing the pain? Did you BF your Other children?

The first I did for 6 months. The second I couldn't she had colic and I never made enough, if I did I just made her more upset. I had an infection with my first in my left it's the one that bothers the most.
